Personal Training Coach Description
I came across this app through a Reddit thread while it was in early development and it seems to have the best combination of features. It’s flexible when it comes to program selection but is rigid and simple for entering your reps, no fussing with your phone. I eventually decided to pay for the premium features for the plate calculator. There are some improvements I’d like to see: * Ability to clone built-in programs. I want to clone nSuns 531 so that I can add accessories of my choosing and have those progress with the main lifts. I would also like to bump some of the weights in the T2 lifts. * Smarter weight increments. I sometimes modify the prescribed weight for a lift, but the + button goes in 2.5lb jumps. This should really be 2x of your smallest plate, so 5lbs unless you have smaller microplates? * (Harder to implement) Programs that change your %RM weight between sets require a lot of plate juggling. If I’m going to use a bunch of 10lb and 5lb plates ramping up, just make 25lb out of those instead of grabbing a 25lb plate for one lift. Great and simple app for tracking progress and calculating workouts. Would love it if they made an Android Wear version so I could be hands free!
